I love meatballs and use all types of ground meat regularly. It is versatile, lower in fat, and extremely flavorful when combined with the right ingredients. These Asian-style meatballs have a ton of flavor from garlic, ginger, and cilantro. Add in the citrus dipping sauce and you’ll have trouble keeping these crowd pleasers around for long!

Asian Turkey Meatballs

  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro minced
  • 2 scallions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey

Dipping Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 scallion chopped


  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray muffin tins with olive oil.
  2. Mix meatball ingredients together and place ~1 ounce balls in each muffin spot. Bake ~30 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Mix dipping sauce ingredients together and blend well.
  4. Serve meatballs with sauce on the side.
