Ingredients

Marinade:

  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 4 tablespoons ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon maple sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Steak:

  • flank steak 1-2 pounds

Instructions

  1. Place marinade ingredients in large sealable bag or container and mix well. Add steak and place in refrigerator. Let marinate at least 30 minutes and up to 8 hours.
  2. Heat grill pan to medium-high and cook ~7 minutes per side for medium-to-medium-rare. Transfer to cutting board, tent with foil, and let rest for 10 minutes. Thinly slice crosswise.
